From Symon Hajjar of Hot Toast Music Co: As some of you may know, before I started singing for kids, I used to make my living singing for adults. It feels like a few months ago and another life all at once. The last project I did was under the name Dear St. Isaac - we put out a few albums and the last was a Christmas album that is still one of my favorite things I’ve ever done.
One of my last shows before delving into children’s music, was a winter show that I did at Made. I remember seeing princess holding Isaac in the back of the crowd, and he was wearing headphones because we were nervous the music would be too loud for him. It feels so special that Made invited me to do a little holiday show at the pop-up space in a few weeks. Jon Paul will accompany me on cello and we will sing some songs from my Christmas album, some that are known by all, and a few Hot Toast songs may even make it in the mix. Hope to see you there and hope I can remember how to sing about things that aren’t food or animals!
*The show will be set up for standing, but feel free to bring your own chair or blanket if you'd prefer to sit.
